Bidar: The Forest department officials got secret information in Sangolgi village of Bidar Taluk. Following the secret information the Forest Department officers conducted a raid at senior JDS leader Mr Ashok Singappa Patil. Four pieces of tiger carcass were found during the raid conducted at the house of senior JDS leader Mr Ashok Singappa Patil. Vanathi MM Deputy Conservator of Forests, Dr. Shivkumar Gajare, under the leadership of Assistant Conservator of Forests, Mr. Shantakumar and other employees of the Forest Department formed a team and searched and found four pieces of tiger carcass from the locker of Ashok Singpa Patil. When Ashok Singappa Patil was enquired, he said that a swamiji had come to our house and given us this to do puja. The forest department seized the ghal and sent it for testing! While Speaking to the media, Vanathi MM Deputy Conservator of Forests in this regard said that after registering a case under the Forest Wildlife Protection Act 1972, the accused was sent to judicial custody.
