Tirupattur, Tamil Nadu: As part of community outreach and student safety initiatives, the Tirupattur District Police organized an awareness program at Nimmiyampattu Government Higher Secondary School on September 11, 2025.
On the instructions of District Superintendent of Police Ms. V. Shyamala Devi, the session was led by SJHR Special Assistant Inspector Mrs. Rupi, who sensitized students on vital topics including the POCSO Act, prevention of child marriage, cybercrime awareness, dangers of drug abuse, traffic rules, and the importance of emergency helpline numbers (181, 1098) and the Kaaval Udhavi app.
The program aimed to empower students with knowledge to stay safe, make informed decisions, and spread awareness in their communities.
This initiative reflects the Tirupattur Police’s strong commitment to child protection, crime prevention, and people-friendly policing.
