Tirupati Urban: Tirupati Urban District SP Mr. Venkata Appala Naidu IPS inspected the Srinivasa Setu Elevated Corridor on Saturday night as construction work was completed on the two-kilometer stretch from the RTC bus stand to the Alipiri police station.
Although the authorities initially decided to start over with the hands of the Chief Minister, the construction of the Srinivasa Setu on the Thiruchanur Road from Mandikayalu Mandi to the Alipiri Police Station took some time to complete, so municipal officials allowed traffic on the bridge from Saturday morning to ease congestion in the city, especially on the Thirumala Bypass Road.
Allowing vehicles not only significantly reduced traffic on the Thirumala Bypass Road, but also created a convenient way for motorists to avoid traffic jams and reach Alipiri directly.
The expressway was inspected by Urban SP Mr. Venkata Appala Naidu IPS and then instructed the people of the city for safety.
City dwellers use Srinivasa Setu Elevated Corridor if necessary. Do not use this elevated construction road for fun or pleasure. Do not drive at high speeds and get into accidents. Brats are not allowed on the elevated corridor.
The bridge was built to facilitate the pilgrims coming to Tirupati to visit Tirumala Srivari from outside. Do not take any action that diminishes its purpose and importance. Fun rides on two-wheelers and cars can pose a threat to the lives of devotees who come to see the Swami. Tough action is not wrong if police warnings are ignored.
