Tamil Nadu, Dindigul: There were ongoing complaints that mini buses near M.V.M. College in Dindigul were transporting an excessive number of female students, forcing some to travel on foot. In response, Dindigul Regional Traffic Inspector Ilango conducted a surprise inspection in the area. During the inspection, he permitted government and mini buses to carry the maximum allowed number of female students. Additionally, he imposed fines on five vehicles for violating regulations. He issued a warning that repeated violations could result in the cancellation of their driving licenses.
