Tamil Nadu, Tirunelveli: On January 4, 2025, in the Thachanallur area of Tirunelveli city, Sub-Inspector of Police Mahendra Kumar and his team, while on patrol, seized 27 liquor bottles and Rs.9,000 from Murugadoss (55) of Gangaikonda, who was found illegally selling liquor behind the Indira Nagar TASMAC shop. They also confiscated 23 liquor bottles and Rs.5,500 from Vignesh (22) of Palai, who was illegally selling liquor near the Nainarkulam Sudalai Temple. Both individuals were arrested, and legal action is being taken against them.
