Kolkata: Senior citizen Neelkamal Malik went to the bank to withdraw the savings. Who knew that the crooks would follow him from inside the bank. He came out of the bank a few feet ahead and saw that his bag had been cut. The thieves fled with around Rs.4 lakh.
As soon as the news was received, the police registered a case and began investigating the case. After checking about a dozen CCTVs the police arrested the entire gang. Three lakh has been recovered after investigation.
Our hope is that the police are able to make up for Mallikbabu’s loss to some extent.
