LUCKNOW: To keep an iron hand on law and order issues Uttar Pradesh’s newly-elected Chief Minister Mr. Yogi Adityanath conducted a surprise check at a Police station in Lucknow on Thursday to check the alertness of Police. There were chaotic scenes at the Police station in Hazratganj which is a major shopping area in the heart of Lucknow. The Chief Minister Adityanath inspected every room in the Police station including the locker, source said. He also inspected crime branch and cyber cell and enquired the working condition of the Police force from the officials present in the police station. The Chief Minister also holds the home portfolio.
