Lucknow, SEPTEMBER 5: The Director General of Uttar Pradesh Police, Mr. Javeed Ahmad, yesterday demonstrated how a taser gun can take down an offender. Leading his colleagues from the front, he volunteered to be the subject of the shot. The top cop can be seen enduring a taser shot – which fires dart-like electrodes – as two men hold his hands to avoid a sudden fall. He’s slowly taken down on the ground to remove the darts and helped to get back on his feet by his colleagues. A taser gun is an electroshock weapon whose one shot causes neuromuscular incapacitation in the target resulting in temporary immobility.  ]]>
