Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand: In a remarkable display of courage and dedication, personnel from the Uttarakhand Fire and Emergency Services swiftly rescued a Kanwariya from Haryana who had fallen unconscious into a deep ditch near the Pakora drain, en route to Shri Gangotri Dham.
Acting without delay, Fire Service Driver Arjun Negi and LFM Deepak Singh descended into the ditch and safely brought the injured Shiv devotee back to the roadside. Displaying further promptness, the team arranged for the devotee to be transported to the Primary Health Center, Gangotri, on the motorcycle of a fellow Kanwariya.
This act of selfless service and swift response reflects the Uttarakhand Police’s commitment to public safety and humanitarian values, especially during the Kanwar Yatra.
