Uttarakhand: There is no religion greater than the service of the elderly and there is no duty greater than humanity. The last stage of life is old age, at this time man/woman has to face many physical and mental problems.
The same incident happened in Kotdwar in Pauri Garhwal to an old mother whose age was around 80 years. She forgot the way to her house due to her weak memory and started wandering on the street. Seeing the old mother wandering on the street, two girls going to school, Priya and Deepti went ahead to help the old mother and took her to Najibabad Chowlk where Sub-Inspector Mr. Kripal Singh and Constable Mr. Sonu Kumar were present on traffic duty. The old mother was questioned by police personnel.
They tried to get to know her address by giving her a feeling of belonging after drinking water so that she could be handed over to her family members. The old mother told her name as Kausalya Devi but did not remember the address of her house. After much questioning by the police personnel, one person identified the old mother and also gave the address of her house. The old mother was safely brought to her home. The family members of the old mother gave thanks to the Uttarakhand Police for safely bringing back her to the house.
