Bhopal: Additional Director General of Police Mr. Sai Manohar IPS and Deputy Inspector General of Police Bhopal City Mr. Irshad Wali IPS has given instructions to senior officers and all station in-charges to check the incidents of vehicle theft in the city and to nab the thieves. Following these instructions, the police station MP Nagar Police has succeeded in arresting the vehicle thief. Along with this, four stolen motorcycles have also been recovered. The police station in charge of MP Nagar Mr. Sudhir Arjaria had received information from the informer that a person is standing in front of the post office near the Press Complex intersection located in MP Nagar trying to sell the motorcycle at a low price.
On information, the police team reached the place mentioned by the informer, and Ramprasad Sahu, aged 51 years was caught by the Police. On asking for the documents of the motorcycle, he was found not having the documents. On interrogation, the accused confessed to stealing a motorcycle. On the instance of the accused, a stolen motorcycle and two Activas have been seized by the police. The accused has been arrested and interrogated in connection with other theft incidents.
