Kolkata: Mr. Dennis Anup Lakra, Inspector of Cyber Police of Kolkata Police, is the best ‘Cyber Cop’ in the country. The new feathers of honor have been added to the crown of Kolkata Police in suppressing cybercrime. Kolkata Police, Cyber Police Inspector Mr. Dennis Anup Lakra was adjudged the best ‘Cyber Cop’ of the country. Kolkata Police Cyber Police Station has been selected as one of the top three cyber police stations in the country in terms of ‘Capacity Building’.
The Kolkata Police has received this honor in the judgment of the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) and NASSCOM. The annual cybersecurity conference that had been organized by these two organizations was held virtually yesterday. The Judges have named Kolkata Police Inspector Mr. Dennis Anup Lakra as the country’s best ‘cyber cop’ in a fierce battle between all the investigating agencies in the country. Hon’ble Mayor Mr. Anuj Sharma felicitated Mr. Lakra at a function here today.
