Drop at Home services to ensure safety and security of women during odd Hours were being done by the Andhra Pradesh Police. Last night on 22.02.2023 ,an young woman reached Kakinada by train from Vijayawada. As she found no transport facility to reach home at 00.05 am, she dialed to Kakinada Police Control room for help.The Indra Palem SI who was on night rounds along with a woman constable immediately reached the spot and droped the woman at her home in Penuguduru(V),Karapa(M) in a ‘Woman Drop at Home’ vehicle safely and handed over to her family members. DGP Mr. K.V Rajendranath Reddy,IPS commended Kakinada Police for their swift response and their preparedness to assist the young woman to reach her home safely ensuring security and comfort of women as a top most priority.
