Dindigul, Tamil Nadu: While Saravanan (Inspector in-charge of Dindigul Taluk Police Station), Sub-Inspector Vijay, and other police personnel were on patrol, they encountered Raj (alias) Rasu (26), son of Murugesan from Nallampatti, on the bridge along the Nallampatti–Thandalkaranpatti road. He was brandishing a machete in a manner that intimidated the public and was scraping the blade against the road and bridge, causing sparks to fly. The police surrounded and arrested Raj (alias) Rasu; a case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
