Mumbai police mourn Lata Mangeshkar emotionally

Mumbai: Lata Mangeshkar has passed away but her music is not over, her music which has been around for almost eight decades may be innumerable.  She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on January 8 after a COVID-19 positive test and has been in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for the past two weeks.

Following her death, netizens paid heartfelt tributes to the “Nightingale of India” on social media platforms.  The tributes by the Mumbai police between the posts touched the hearts of many.

Mumbai police have taken to Twitter to pay tribute to the late legendary singer. “Lata ji, aap chali gain hai, noor chala gaya hai.  Relax in peace. EkPyaarKaNagmaLata, ”the police department captioned the post.

The post received 20,000 likes and tons of responses.  People have expressed their grief over the death of the Melody Queen on various social media by providing us with musical gems like Darna Kyato Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo, Lag Ja Gale, Ajeeb Dastan Hai, Yeh Kahan Aage Hai Hum, and Pyar Kiya.
