Gandhi Nagar: While addressing the second convocation ceremony of Rashtriya Raksha University in Gandhi Nagar today Defense minister Mr. Rajnath Singh said it is high time to establish India as a developed nation during the Amrit kal.
Mr. Singh said that with the passing of time, security dimensions are also changing drastically. He added that the line between internal and external security is becoming thinner with unabated cross-border terrorism, infiltration and insurgency.
Mr. Singh said all agencies need to adopt an integrated approach to deal with the rapid change of the security scenario.
The minister said peaceful coexistence is in India’s culture. India has never annexed nor subjugated any territory. Mr. Singh said life values build the character of a person. He asked the passing out students to go back to their roots and contribute to the development of society based on ethics and spirituality.
Later in the day, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh launched the Gujarati edition of Modi @20 book in Gandhinagar. Addressing the occasion, He said Mr. Modi has worked towards strengthening the cultural heritage of the country. He said after Narendra Modi came to power as the Prime Minister, India’s image has improved at the global level.
Minister of state for information and broadcasting Mr. L Murugan, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel were present on the occasion.
