Kolkata: The West Bengal Police has announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed Any Graduate for the position of Sub Inspector.
The name of the recruiting Organization is West Bengal Police. The name of the Post is Sub-Inspector. There are 24 vacant posts. The salary package is between Rs.32, 100/- to Rs.82, 900/- per month. The job location is in Kolkata. The last date to apply is 18/10/2020.
The Government of West Bengal has sanctioned to fill up a total of 139 posts of Technical Staff in different ranks in West Bengal Police for operating Fast Interceptor Boats/Flat Bottom Vessels/Water Scooter (Jet Ski) of Coastal Police Stations under Coastal Security Scheme (Phase – I & Phase – II). Male candidates retired from Indian Navy/Indian Coast Guard/BSF Water Wing/Indo Tibetan Border Police (Water Wing) are only eligible to apply.
The essential qualification required are as follows: The candidates must have served as a Chief Petty Officer/Petty Officer in Navy, Seaman Branch only (Navigation, Communication, Gunnery, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Clearance Driver and Survey Recorders) or as an Adhikari/Pradhan Navik in Coast Guard, GD Branch only Or Minimum 2 years as a Sub-Inspector in Border Security Force (Water Wing)/Indo-Tibetan Border Police (Water Wing).
The age of the candidates should not exceed 45 years as on 01.01.2020.
