Prakasam: The Andhra Pradesh Police has given first priority to Women and Child safety. In this regard an awareness program on Laws and Benefits enacted by the Central and State Government for the protection of the Rights of Women and Children was conducted, showcasing various applications created for Women and Child Safety by the AP Police.
Disha SOS Mobile APP was created to use in case of emergencies, Disha Cyber Kavach kiosk to scan and remove malware, AP Police Seva App with access to 87 types of services, ICJS( Inter- Operable Criminal Justice System) for tracking the current status of cases and Operation Muskan was highlighted.
The AP Police has won 21 awards for Women and Children’s safety, and 125 awards in various categories. The judges congratulated DIG Technical Services Mr. G. Palaraju IPS and Prakasam Police SP Mr. Siddharth Kaushal IPS for their sincere efforts in smart and innovative policing.
