Siliguri: Today at about 1430 hours acting on credible information, police personnel of the Detective Department, SPC busted a racket involved in making fake Driving licenses and RC Books, and arrested two accused persons namely Biplab Das of Ward No 31, SMC, and Souvik Ghosh of Mahananda- para, Siliguri from a shop styled as Siliguri Copy Center, opposite Siliguri Court.
A good number of fake Driving licenses, fake Registration Certificates of vehicles, one computer with a printer, and other incriminating articles have been recovered and seized from their possession. A specific case is being initiated at Siliguri Police Station. Both the arrested accused persons will be produced before the Ld Court tomorrow with a prayer for Police Custody, for further probe into the case.
