Kolar, Karnataka: In a significant breakthrough in a borewell cable wire theft case reported under the jurisdiction of Boodikote Police Station, police have arrested four accused persons and successfully recovered stolen property worth approximately ₹60,000.
Acting swiftly on the theft complaint, the Boodikote Police launched an investigation to identify those responsible for the crime. Through sustained investigative efforts and effective field-level action, police were able to trace and apprehend fur accused persons allegedly involved in the theft.
During the course of the investigation, police recovered approximately 220 metres of borewell cable wire, valued at around ₹60,000, which was allegedly stolen in the incident. A two-wheeler reportedly used in the commission of the crime was also seized from the accused.
The recovery of the stolen cable and seizure of the vehicle mark an important development in the investigation and demonstrate the effectiveness of the Boodikote Police in pursuing property-related offences and bringing the accused to justice.
The prompt action by the police has helped recover valuable property and provided relief to the affected party. The case also highlights the police department’s continued efforts to curb thefts, trace stolen property and prevent the recurrence of such offences within its jurisdiction.
