Kolar, Karnataka: In a compassionate act of community policing, Bangarpet Police rescued a mentally challenged woman who was found wandering in the Seth Compound area and ensured her safety by providing timely assistance.
Responding with empathy and concern, PSI Rajanna and police staff member Sumitra Jadhav reached the spot, interacted with local residents to gather information about the woman, and ensured that she received immediate care and protection.
After confirming that she required assistance, the police safely shifted her to the Birandahalli shelter home, where she could receive proper care, support, and rehabilitation.
The humanitarian action by the police reflects their commitment to serving society beyond law enforcement. By extending timely help to a vulnerable individual, Bangarpet Police demonstrated that policing is not only about maintaining law and order but also about protecting and caring for those in need. Such acts of kindness strengthen public trust and highlight the compassionate face of the police force.
