Siliguri: Acting on a credible input, on 07.08.21 late evening, officers and men of the Detective Department and SOG, Siliguri Police Commissionerate conducted a raid at a garage cum godown at Rabindranagar, ward no. 21, Siliguri.
During the raid, police recovered 09 cartoons of Onereex cough syrup containing 144 bottles of 100 ml in each cartoon (Total 1260 bottles) and 70 (seventy) packets of SpasmoProxyvon tables (total 10080 tables) from the possession of one Dipak Paul of New Pal Para Ward No 31 and one Ganesh Saha of Madhya Chayan Para Ward no. 37.
The recovered contraband drugs were duly seized, following the procedure of law, and
both the accused have been arrested and taken into custody.
The accused persons were supplying the contraband drugs to various drug peddlers in Siliguri and Sikkim.
Both the arrested persons are being presented before the Ld Court today with a prayer for Police Remand, for further investigation.
