Siliguri: On 16.08.21, acting on credible input officers and men of SOG and Bagdogra Police Station apprehended two persons namely Shakti Ghosh 34yrs and Allmuktar Sk 32yrs from near Bihar More.
On search of their person, after maintaining the requisite procedure of law, two thin plastic zipper packets containing 340 grams of substance said to be Brown Sugar were recovered from the conscious possession of both the suspects.
Accordingly, the police seized the contraband article after maintaining proper legal formalities and arrested the two accused persons. A specific case under NDPS Act has been registered.
