Kolkata: With educational institutions closed for over a year owing to the pandemic, online classes and tuition have become part and parcel of life for our children and young people. Not all children, however, have access to either the equipment or the money to reap the benefits of online education. Such children can neither access online classes nor can their parents afford private tuition. Now, as a humanitarian service, supported by Commissioner of Police Mr. Soumen Mitra IPS and spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Mr. Arijit Sinha, Kolkata Police’s Traffic Training School at Tala has arranged for interactive tuition classes for underprivileged children until their schools reopen.
