Khargone: Inspector General of Police Indore Zone Indore Mr. Harinarayan Chari Mishra IPS and Deputy Inspector General of Police Nimad Range Khargone Mr. Tilak Singh IPS have continuously been directed to take action against the accused by resolving property related crimes at the earliest. Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police, District Khargone, Mr. Siddharth Chaudhary IPS and Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) District Khargone, Mr. Jitendrasinh Panwar IPS, Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Mr. Neeraj Chaurasia IPS, under the guidance of Dr. Neeraj Chaurasia IPS, the police personnel of Mangaon police had succeeded in arresting the four accused who committed fraud by cloning ATMs.
On 16th November, Mangaon station in-charge Mr. Parmanand Goyal received information from the informer that four people are sitting in a car on the roadside outside Eklavya School, who has an ATM card swiping machine and many ATM cards. A person also has a country-made pistol in his hand. Taking immediate action on the information of the informer, the police team laid siege at the place mentioned by the informer and arrested Sandeep’s father Kitab Singh Ghank, aged 31 years, Sandeep alias Sanjeev father Balwant Singh, age 24 years, Mukesh father Mahasing age 40 years and Jaipal father Kanha aged 30 years, all resident of Haryana were caught.
On searching the persons, four ATM cards of different banks, cash of Rs.9000/-, a real me company mobile from Sandeep alias Sanjeev, a country-made pistol with two live cartridges on the right side of the waist from Sandeep alias Sanjeev, a DETSUN ATM card reader machine, 10 ATMs of different banks Card, cash of Rs.46, 000/- and mobile of an Oppo company, three ATMs of different banks from Mukesh Sahasari, Card, cash of Rs.11, 000/- and 5 ATMs of various banks from Jaipal. Card and cash Rs.18, 000/- were duly confiscated by the police.
During interrogation, the accused admitted that they stole the ATMs from the people who entered the ATM center. The accused also admitted to stealing money from the machine. A case was registered against the accused under the Arms Act at Nagaon police station and taken up for investigation.
