Rachakonda: On 10.12.2021 Police Malkajgiri and Nacharam police with CCS Police made the arrest of two interstate automobile offenders who were involved in committing theft of cars in Rachakonda and Cyberabad Police Commissionerates along with their other team members. The Accused arrested are Imran Khan Pathan(36), Santhosh Jagannath Pawar(34) both of Maharastra State.
The accused mentioned above along with 6 others all residents of Maharastra state formed themselves as a gang and committed theft of mostly Maruthi cars and other cars Honda Amaze and Hundar (20) and in the limits of Police Stations Nacharam, Malkajgiri, Kushaiguda, Keesara, and Jawaharnagar of Rachakonda Commissionerate and also in the limits of Alwal and Petbasheerabad PSS of Cyberabad Commissionerates.
The accused persons Imran Khan Pathan, Farman Ali Khan, Sohrab Ali, Yeverullah Khan, and Uday Maruthi Patil hails from Maharastra and are professionals in committing theft of Cars were in as per their pre-plan after identifying the car they commit theft of the cars by stopping the alarms of the car through the mechanism and further by using the false keys. After committing the theft of cars, they take the stolen car to some distance and further fix the duplicate number plate to the car and take it to Maharastra where they change the chassis and engine numbers by keeping the other numbers over them. They choose similar colors and model cars that are already registered in India and keep the same number plate on the stolen cars. They further erase the engine and chassis numbers and replace the number of the registered cars. As per the confession of the arrested accused, the gang involved in committing theft of cars all over India Le., Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, and in the localities of Rachakonda, Cyberabad, and Hyderabad Commissionerates. In this gang, the main leaders are Uday Maruthi Patil R/o Kolhapur Village and Farman Ali Khan of Maharastra who plan and use the services of other accused as drivers in stealing. Efforts are continued to arrest the entire gang. It is learned that more than 50 cars have been stolen by the Inter-State gang.
The recovered property is a total of 8 cars worth Rs.50, 00,000/- by Nacharam Police. vehicle type Maruthi Ertiga. The cases were detected with the help of CCTV footage and CDR Analysis. Place of offense Colony, Bank Mallapur Nagar, High tension Road, SN Reddy Enclave, Panchashila Pet Colony, Basheerabad.
The cases could be detected with the continuous follow up of the movements of the suspects and the good work done in detecting the cases by Mr. H. Venkateshwarlu, Detective Inspector of Police, Malkajgiri Police Station, Mr. Nagaraju, DSI of Police, Nacharam Police Station, and CCS Malkajgiri team under the leadership of Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS, Commissioner of Police and Mr. G Sudheer Babu IPS, Addl. Commissioner of Police Rachakonda and under supervision of Ms. Rakshitha, K. Murthy, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Malkajgiri Zone, Mr. P. Yadagiri, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crimes Rachakonda, Mr. N. Shyam Prasad Rao, ACP Malkajgiri and Mr. D. Venkanna Naik, ACP CCS Malkajgirl.
