Chennai: The Chennai Metropolitan Police, V-1 Villivakkam Police Station Circuit Officer-in-Charge Mr. L. Madhavan, and Police Driver / Armed Police Constable Mr. S. Ganeshkumar, on 5.2.2022 night while on duty, at around 11.00 pm, two suspects in an auto threw stones at a police vehicle when they went to the scene after receiving information that 2 persons were involved in a riot with a knife in the town of Sidco.
As soon as the two accused threw stones and broke the glass of the police vehicle and ran away, the police chased and caught a person. When police searched him, it was revealed that he had hidden a large knife inside his clothes. The arrested person was handed over to the V-1 Villivakkam Police Station and interrogated.
The arrested person was identified as Ganesan alias Ganeshkumar (28) Ambattur and the fugitive was identified as Ganesh (A) Razor Ganesh (24) Villivakkam. It was later revealed that he had shown a knife in the Villivakkam area and snatched the money and attacked a person with a knife and got involved in a riot.
A case was registered at the V-1 Villivakkam police station and the enemy Ganesan (A) Ganeshkumar was arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
1 auto and 1 knife were seized from him. It was also revealed that the fugitive Ganesh (A) Razor Ganesh was later arrested at the T-1 Ambattur police station.
Further investigation revealed that the arrested enemy Ganesan (A) Ganeshkumar was guilty of T-1 Ambattur Police Station Historical Record and has 7 criminal cases against him. Court action is being taken against the said enemies.
Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mr. Sankar Jiwal IPS called in person VL1 Villivakkam Police Chief Constable Mr. L. Madhavan and Armed Police Constable Mr. S. Ganeshkumar were on the night patrol on 11.02.2022 and presented the award of appreciation.
