Man Slits Sister-In-Law’s Throat In Ghaziabad
A 22-year-old woman was seriously injured after her throat was slit by her brother-in-law following a heated argument in Pakka Talab area on Wednesday in Ghaziabad, police said. “Dharamvir and his unmarried sister-in-law Preeti had some heated arguments in the morning. In a gush of anger, he slit her throat with a sharp weapon,” said SHO City Kotwali Dhirendra Yadav.
“Preeti, who was bleeding profusely, was rushed to the district hospital by her sister. She was referred to GTB Hospital in North East Delhi where she is recovering after surgery,” police said.
18-Year-Old Boy Dies Due To Wrong Medication
An 18-year-old boy died on Wednesday after he was allegedly administered wrong injection at a private clinic in Vasundhra colony in Ghaziabad, police said. “Ankit had fever when he was taken to a private clinic in Indirapuram by his father. The relatives have alleged that Ankit was given wrong injection by the doctor due to which he died within a few minutes,” said SHO Sheelesh Yadav.”The body has been sent for postmortem. If the autopsy report confirms that the boy died due to wrong medication and if the family members register complaint in this regard, legal action will be taken,” he added.
Trader Robbed At Gunpoint
A trader was robbed on Wednesday of
Rs. 5 lakh at gunpoint by three men on a motorcycle, in Masuri town in Ghaziabad, police said. The incident took place when Mr Vineet, a wholesaler of groceries, was returning on his scooty after collecting money from retailers at around 4 pm, they said.
