Chennai: Sridhar, (61), a resident of Palavanthangal area, locked the house on 18.7.2021 last year and when he saw it the next morning which was on 19.07.2021, the lock of the house was broken and 41 pieces of gold jewelry kept in the house were stolen. A case was registered and an investigation was carried out after Sridhar lodged a complaint at the Palavanthangal police station.
Senthilmurugan (29), a resident of Cuddalore district, was arrested in connection with the theft. 3 shaving gold jewelery were confiscated from him.The investigation revealed that the accused Senthilmurugan broke the lock of the house and stole the gold jewelery and there are already 5 theft cases against him at the Palavanthangal and Panruti police stations. Court action is being taken against the said accused.
