Greater Chennai: Mr. Prasanth from Alandur, Chennai is running a construction company by name M / S. Prashanth homes. Jayasree and Nandakishore from Nanganallur in August 2020 owned the Mayilai Madhava Perumal Temple located at 17/13, College Road, Vembuli Subedar Street, Alandur, Chennai. The accused have leased Prashant’s Nanganallur flat for Rs.1 crore and sold the land belonging to the temple to plaintiff Prasanth’s name.
It was later revealed that the land belonged to the Mayilai Madhava Perumal temple, and when Prasanth asked the accused, they went into hiding without returning the money. A case has been registered with the Central Criminal Documents Fraud Investigation Division (EDF-III) on the complaint lodged by Prasanth in this regard.
On the orders of Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mr. Sankar Jiwal, IPS and Additional Commissioner of Central Crime Division Mrs.Thenmozhi IPS, the police team led by the Fraud Investigation Unit (EDF – III) conducted an intensive investigation and search and arrested the accused Nandakishore (43) Nanganallur and his wife Geetha (40). Court action is being taken against the said accused.
