Greater Chennai: The Greater Chennai Police arrested two persons for selling ganja in Nandambakkam and Vannarpettai. Two persons were arrested for assaulting woman with beer bottle in Kodunkaiyur. A man was arrested for assaulting wife and mother-in-law in Mylapore.
A man who teased a woman and behaved inappropriately in Kasimat was immediately arrested. In the last 3 days, as a special initiative of the Chennai Metropolitan Police, action was taken against the raiders, prevention of Gutka sale, special vehicle inspection, consultation meetings with residents’ welfare associations.
