Rachakonda: On 26.7.2022 at 8.15 am the sleuths of Meerpet police arrested the accused by name Abio-Bin-Khaleed(24) Abia son of Khalid-Bin-Badar., R/o Hyderabad, in POCSO Act and Indian Arms Act of Meerpet Police Station and apprehended him near Lucky Star Hotel, Nandanavanam, Meerpet.
The accused has been involved in more than 26 cases in Hyderabad and Cyberabad Commissionerates.
Mangothat Police Station, Hyderabad City invoked PD Act against him twice earlier and Shahinayathgunj, Hyderabad City had sent a proposal for invoking PD Act and obtained permission to invoke but since then he has been absconding and it is pending to serve the PD Act notice to him.
It was 5 months ago that the complainant got acquaintance with Abid Bin Khaled and as per his demand she got married to him on 1.4.2022, since then the complainant along with her two sisters and brother are residing with him at Nandanavanam. One month ago, the petitioner’s elder sister left from the house as Abid Bin Khaled was misbehaving with her. Later the petitioner traced her and brought her back to the house. On 21.7.2022 in the night hours, when her elder sister was sleeping in the hall, he again misbehaved with her and she informed the same to the petitioner. On 25.7.2022 at about 9 am, when the petitioner questioned him he inflicted cut injuries on himself over his body with a blade, wrongfully confined them in the house and threatened her sister by stating that he will kill her by showing a knife and also he kept a knife on petitioner’s throat with an intention to kill her. When her sisters tried to contact the police he escaped from there.
After registered a case, a team was formed with 3-Sls, 1-HC and 6-PCs. The police team acted swiftly, took up the leads from CCTV footages, and zeroed-in on the accused.
On 26.7.2022 at about 8 am, while he was moving near Meerpet Burju on his Honda Deo Motor Cycle meantime, a team of police staff Mr. P. Yellaiah Goud, PC-5074 and Mr. A.Shivaraj. PC-4843 of Meerpet Police Station observed him and they tried to catch him. On seeing the police he tried to escape from there and ran away in by-lanes in the Meerpet area. But the said PCs started chasing him too and after 2 Kms of chase by running they caught him near Lucky Hotel Nandanavanam.
The police seized one Yamaha Deo Motor cycle, 2 mobile phones, one knife, one blade, one silver chain from the possession of accused. A blood stained white color banian was also seized.
The arrest of the accused person was made under the directions of Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda Commissionerate and Mr. Sunpreet Singh IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, LB Nagar Zone. On the Supervising of Mr. K. Purushotham Reddy, Assistant Commissioner of Police Vanasthalipuram Division, Mr. M. Mahender Reddy, Inspector of Police, Mr. Narsing Rathod, DSI, Mr. Govindu Swamy SIP, Mr. K. Badya Naik SIP, Mr. Narayana Karan-HC and PCs Mr. Yellaiah Goud, Mr. Shiva Raj, Mr. Omprakash Reddy, Mr. M. Ramakrishna Reddy and Mr. Anil Raj. The above team will get the suitable rewarded.
