Chandigarh: On 29.10 2022 Chandigarh Traffic Police conducted Traffic Rules awareness program for CTU bus drivers and conductors in CTP Sector 23, Chandigarh. A total of 12 CTU bus drivers and conductors were educated about the Traffic Rules and regulations through this program.
On 29.10 2022 Chandigarh Traffic Police conducted a special Road Safety Awareness drive in markets of Sector 29/D and Sector 20 C and D, regarding proper parking of motor vehicles in the designated marked area in parking areas of the markets, Residential area on V-4 and V-5 Sector roads, parking of vehicles on roads infringes the right of way of other road users, causes obstruction in free flow of traffic, traffic congestions, endangering one’s own life and the life of other road users by this act of parking vehicle on the road which leads to road accidents.
During this drive 8 traffic violation challans of wrong parking of vehicles on road and footpaths were also issued to the violators.
