The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is India’s largest Central Armed Police Force. It functions under the authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of the Government of India. The CRPF’s primary role lies in assisting the State/Union Territories in police operations to maintain law and order and counter-insurgency. It is composed of Central Reserve Police Force (Regular) and Central Reserve Police Force (Auxiliary).
DG of CRPF Mr. Sujoy Thaosen watched demonstration by the CRPF Quick Action Team at Nagrota, Jammu. He also interacted with the Jawans in Sainik Sammelan, commended their hard work & commitment to duties, and shared a meal with them in the Badakhana.
