On 27.12.2022 the DGP Telangana State Mr. M. Mahender Reddy IPS has declared Uppal Police Station as the best Police Station. In 1001 to 1911 the reported cases category and other 10 Police Stations secured place 1st to 10th place. The police stations are from first place are Saroornagar, Malkajgiri, Medipally, Neredmet, L.B. Nagar, Hayathnagar, Jawaharnagar, Kushaiguda, Vanasthalipuram, and Meerpet in Top 19 Police Stations in Telangana State for the year 2022 in State wide Monthly Crime Review meeting based on their annual performance in various functional areas of Policing such as Prevention, Detection and Investigation of cases, securing more convictions, Dial 100 Response and Citizens feedback, Station house management, HRMS, Workplace management (5’s), Trainings and digitisation of Police work process etc, duly categorizing them into five 5 categories in accordance with their work load on reporting crimes.

The Functional Vertical Reward Mela has been organized at Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, Neredmet. The Commissioner handed over Certificates of appreciation to 42 Police personnel for their meritorious services and best performance in the Functional Verticals like Reception, Administration, Investigation, Station House Officer, DI-DSI, Summons, Blue colts, Patrol car, Section in-charges, Crime Writers and rest of all the functional verticals for the month of October and November-2022. Apart from the functional vertical awardees, 3 police personnel who got Seva Pathakams were also given medals. DCP L.B.Nagar, Mr. Sunpreet Singh IPS, DCP Malkajgiri Ms. Rakshitha K Murthy IPS, DCP Women Safety, Mr. Venkateswarlu, Addl. DCP Admin Mrs. C. Narmada, ACP CCRB Mr. M. Jagadeesh Chander and other officers of Rachakonda were also present at the occasion.
