Rachakonda: In a joint operation, the officers from CCS Malkajgiri Zone in Rachakonda Commissionerate, along with the Kushaiguda Police, apprehended four individuals involved in narcotics (ganja) offenses at Chakripuram X roads, Kushaiguda.
A Case was registered under Sections 8(c) and 20(b)(ii)(A) of the NDPS Act, at Kushaiguda Police Station, Rachakonda.
Details of the Accused:
Genigunta Yeshwanth Goud, also known as Bunty, son of G Bandalaiah, aged 22, residing at Indramma Colony, Mallampeta, Bachupally. Originally from Ravipeta(V), Kothakota(M), Mahabubnagar.
Bonukulla Suresh, son of B Lachaiah, aged 22, residing near S M Model School, Janatha nagar, Moosapet, Kukatpally, Medchal district. Originally from Oldpadra (V), Odissa State.
Neyala Dhanunjay, also known as Chiru, son of N Harikrinshna, aged 22, residing near Chitamma Temple, Janata Nagar, Moosapet, Kukatpally. Originally from Sapakota(V), Mandasa(M), Srikakulam, AP.
Kota Yuvaraj, son of K Anand Rao, aged 21, residing near Janatha Nagar, Hanuman Temple, Moosapet, Kukatpally. Originally from Guvvandi(V), Gajapathii(M), Odissa State.
Recovered Property:
2.5 kilograms of ganja

Case Background:
Genigunta Yeshwanth Goud, also known as Bunty, hails from Bachupally and has a history of criminal involvement. After being released from juvenile detention, he continued to engage in criminal activities, including auto thefts.
Bonukulla Suresh, Neyala Dhanunjay alias Chiru, and Kota Yuvaraj, residents of Moosapet, had become friends with Vamshi, a native of Odissa. Together, they were involved in the consumption of ganja and other illicit activities.
During a visit to Ichapuram in AP for a friend’s wedding, Vamshi provided the ganja to the group, which they brought back to Hyderabad. They were apprehended by Kushaiguda Police during a routine vehicle check on September 6, 2023.
This apprehension operation was carried out under the guidance of DCP-Malkajgir Zone, ACP-Kushaiguda Division, and SHO Kushaiguda, with support from CCS Malkajgiri Zone, Rachakonda.
