Rachakonda: On the early morning of September 8, 2023, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Keesara Police Station and his team successfully apprehended a gang of criminals consisting of Ramakrishnan, Kagh Govind, Mahender Pawar, and Bachu Santhosh. These individuals were responsible for committing (22) property offenses within the jurisdictions of Keesara, Kushaiguda, and Jawaharnagar Police Stations in Rachakonda. The police managed to recover stolen property amounting to approximately Rs. 50,00,000/-.
Details of the accused persons are as follows:
Ramakrishnan, son of Arumuga Nainar, aged 35, residing at Venkateshwara Colony, Balajinagar, Jawahar Nagar, Medchal-Malkajgiri district, originally from Rettaikulam, Nanguneri Taluq, Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu State.
Kagh Govind, son of Raju Ramji, aged 36, running a Provision Shop at Devendranagar Colony, Chennapuram, Jawaharnagar, Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
Mahender Pawar, son of Kishanlal Pawar, aged 36, residing at Jyothi Colony, Balajinagar, Jawaharnagar, Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
Bachu Santhosh, son of Pradeep, aged 40, residing at Marwadi lane, Balajinagar, Jawahar Nagar, Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
Recovered/seized case property includes:
Gold ornaments weighing (680) grams
Silver ornaments weighing (2479) grams
One laptop
One Canon camera
One Hero Splendor motorcycle with registration no.TS-08-JK-7358
One Honda Activa bike with registration no.TS-08-HM-9246
Two mobile phones
Tool kit used for housebreaking
The total worth of the recovered property is Rs. 50,00,000/-.
Ramakrishnan, originally from Tamil Nadu, migrated to Jawaharnagar, Hyderabad, where he started a small snack business. During visits to his hometown, he committed two property crimes in Tamil Nadu. Kagh Govind, a provision store owner in Chennapuram, Jawaharnagar, became acquainted with Ramakrishnan through his snack stall. Both individuals were involved in various vices, including online gaming.
Subsequently, they conspired to make easy money. Ramakrishnan, being experienced in property offenses, informed Govind of his intentions to commit thefts and instructed him to dispose of the stolen property.
Operating together, Ramakrishnan carried out thefts within the jurisdictions of Keesara, Kushaiguda, and Jawaharnagar, areas he was familiar with.
In total, they committed (22) property offenses, including (3) serious ones.
Following the offenses, Ramakrishnan entrusted Govind with the stolen ornaments and received his agreed-upon share. Some of the stolen property was sold to Mahender Pawar and Bachu Santhosh. All four members profited from the stolen goods.
Ramakrishnan was apprehended by the SHO Keesara and his team while en route to commit another offense from Bandlaguda to Nagaram on a white motorbike, carrying his tool kit. Based on his confession, the remaining accused – Kagh Govind, Mahender Pawar, and Bachu Santhosh – were apprehended, and the stolen property was recovered from them.
These arrests were made under the supervision of Mr. DS Chauhan, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, and with the direct guidance of Mrs. D. Janaki, IPS, DCP Malkajgiri zone. The operation was carried out by Mr. R. Giridhar, IPS, DCP SOT Malkajgiri, and Mr. Y. Venkat Reddy, ACP of Kushaiguda Division, along with Mr. A. Venkataiah, SHO of Keesara PS, Mr. Ch. Hariprasad, SI of Police, Mr. U. Madhu, SI of Police, Mr. Nagaraju, SI of Police, Mr. G. Joji, ASI of Police, Mr. Rambabu HC, Mr. P. Venkat Reddy HC, Mr. P. Indrasena Reddy HC, Mr. Vijay PC, and Mr. Chandrashekhar PC of Keesara Police Station.
