Thrissur Rural: On the basis of confidential information received by Dr. Navneet Sharma IPS, the Police Chief of Thrissur Rural District, a joint operation involving the DANSAF team and Pudukkad police led to a significant drug seizure from a vehicle, resulting in the arrest of two individuals. Albin (25 years old) from Ollur Thaikattusery Mamprakaran house and Diljit (25 years old) from Madakatthara Netissery Porkalangat house were apprehended with approximately four grams of synthetic drug MDMA.
This operation involved the coordination of various law enforcement officials including Chalakudy DySP Mr. R. Asokan, Thrissur Rural DCB DySP Mr. N. Muralidharan, Pudukkad Police Station SI Pradeep Kumar, and others. The seized MDMA, valued at around fifty thousand rupees in Kerala, was intended for distribution among students, indicating the accused’s involvement in the drug trafficking network in the Pudukkad region. Further investigation revealed that the accused had sourced the drugs from Bangalore. Authorities have stated their intention to conduct a thorough investigation into both the suppliers and consumers associated with the accused.
