Lucknow: The law enforcement authorities of Uttar Pradesh have meticulously organized a comprehensive security apparatus for the upcoming Eid prayers on April 11th. This includes the deployment of a substantial contingent comprising 481 companies from diverse armed forces such as the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), Special Security Force (SSF), and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF). To ensure thorough vigilance and swift response capabilities, 4,800 police response vehicles (PRVs) and 1,785 quick response teams (QRTs) equipped with riot control gear will be strategically positioned across sensitive locations.
Moreover, advanced surveillance technologies including drone cameras and high-resolution CCTV systems will be installed at key sites to monitor proceedings closely. The security personnel will maintain heightened alertness at 2,912 identified sensitive spots or hotspots, with deployment tailored according to distinct zones and sectors across the state.
In addition to physical security measures, stringent monitoring of social media platforms will be conducted to preempt any dissemination of objectionable content that could potentially disrupt public order or inflame communal tensions. Furthermore, collaborative efforts involving 2,403 meetings with civil defense, religious leaders, peace committees, and other stakeholders have been undertaken to foster coordination and harmony during the festivities.
The law enforcement authorities have also emphasized the deployment of undercover personnel equipped with body-worn cameras and binoculars to ensure meticulous oversight of all activities during the Eid prayers, underscoring their commitment to safeguarding public safety and communal harmony.
