Ramgarh: In Ramgarh District, during the nights of June 9th and 10th, 2024, a series of burglaries took place in three to four residences located on Rajrappa Road in the Myal Chitarpur area. The perpetrators gained entry into these homes by accessing the ventilators. The items stolen included brass utensils, religious items used for puja, and mobile phones. Additionally, the thieves targeted Government Basic School in Chitarpur, where they removed solar plates from the water tower.
Following these incidents, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was promptly formed under the direction of the Superintendent of Police for Ramgarh District to address the spate of thefts. This team conducted a thorough investigation, which led to the identification and subsequent arrest of two individuals believed to be involved in the crimes. Upon interrogation, the accused provided information that enabled the recovery of the stolen brass utensils, puja items, mobile phones, and the solar plates. The swift action by the SIT and the guidance from the Superintendent of Police were instrumental in resolving the case and restoring the stolen property to its rightful owners.
