Karnataka, Mysuru: On this day, Hon’ble Mr. Boralingaiah, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) of South Zone, Mysuru, visited the Hasanamba Temple during the annual Hasanamba Devi Jatra to oversee security arrangements. The Hasanamba Devi Jatra is a significant religious festival, attracting thousands of devotees, and ensuring public safety during the event is a top priority for local authorities. During his visit, DIGP Boralingaiah carefully inspected the temple premises and surrounding areas to assess the preparedness of the security forces deployed to manage the large crowd and maintain order throughout the festivities.
Following the inspection, Mr. Boralingaiah convened a meeting with senior officials at the District Police Office, where he provided detailed guidance on implementing precautionary measures to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the Jatra. He emphasized the importance of crowd control, traffic management, and vigilant monitoring to prevent any untoward incidents during the religious event.
