Tamil Nadu, Tirunelveli: A (12) year old student from a private school hostel in V.K.Puram area of Tirunelveli district has tried to go to Kerala without informing anyone. Upon learning of this at the bus stand, (auto driver) Annaraj (49) of Perumal Kovil Street, V.K.Puram handed over the girl to the V.K.Puram police station. Upon learning of this, Tirunelveli District Superintendent of Police N. Silambarasan IPS called Annaraj in person and honored him with a golden shawl, a certificate of appreciation and a reward in appreciation of his sense of responsibility.
