Telangana, Secunderabad: A man was apprehended at Secunderabad railway station by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) for allegedly transporting a large quantity of marijuana. The accused, identified as Rohan Raju, was intercepted during a routine inspection while attempting to smuggle 12 kilograms of marijuana. The contraband was being transported from Odisha to Solapur, highlighting a suspected inter-state drug trafficking operation. Upon further investigation, authorities disclosed that three additional individuals connected to the case—identified as Shankar, Pawar, and Sarath—are currently on the run. Efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the absconding suspects. The police are also probing the larger network involved in this illegal activity.
