Tamil Nadu, Tenkasi: Heavy rains in Tenkasi district last week filled dams, ponds, and lakes, causing waterfalls to overflow. As a result, public bathing was prohibited at Kutrala Falls. However, following repairs to the damaged areas of the falls on 18.12.2024, an inspection by District Collector Mr. A.K. Kamal Kishore, I.A.S., and Tenkasi District Superintendent of Police Mr. V.R. Sreenivasan led to the decision to allow public bathing once again. After a week, the repairs were completed, and the public was granted permission to bathe, bringing great joy to the people.
