Uttarakhand, Pithoragarh: Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Mrs. Rekha Yadav, the district police are actively conducting awareness campaigns on various social issues to prevent crimes and road accidents. As part of this initiative, Gangolihat Police, led by Station Head Shri Hira Singh Dangi, along with Additional U.N. Narendra Pathak, Constable Manoj Kohli, and Head Constable Jyoti Kapkoti, participated in a multipurpose camp organized by the Block Development Office at Bayal Katia ground.
At the event, Gangolihat Police set up an awareness stall to educate the public on the dangers of drug abuse, road safety, cybercrime, and crimes against women, along with relevant legal provisions. Special emphasis was placed on promoting key helpline numbers, including Dial 112, 1090 (Women Helpline), and 1030 (Child Helpline).
