The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohammed Pasha Jeelani alias Sher (42), a textile businessman from Farath Nagar; Mohd Omer Khan (29), who runs a fruit stall in Dabeerpura; Mohammed Arif Khan alias Khan (40), a businessman dealing in mobile accessories; Mohammed Ghouse Uddin alias Sajji (36), a real estate businessman; Mohammed Tabrez alias Tabbu (29), owner of Tabrez Travels; Syed Ibrahim (36), a local businessman; Syed Basheer alias Basheer Khan (40), who sells footwear on the roadside; and Mohammed Abubakar alias Abbu (28), a mobile repair technician. All the accused hail from various localities in Dabeerpura and Talabkatta and are closely associated with each other through business or personal ties.

Motive and Investigation:

The murder was the result of ongoing personal enmity and intimidation by the deceased, who was known to extort money and instill fear in the local community. During the holy month of Ramzan, tensions escalated when Masiuddin allegedly demanded money from one of the accused, leading to multiple confrontations. Fearing for their safety and life threats, the group conspired to eliminate the threat.

The investigation uncovered a meticulously planned attack, executed with precision. Surveillance was maintained for days, and on the night of the incident, the accused ambushed Masiuddin and fatally assaulted him using knives.

Seized Evidence:

In connection with the case, police seized four knives used in the murder, four two-wheelers (two Honda Activas, one Burgman, and one Passion Plus), and five mobile phones that were instrumental in the execution and coordination of the crime.

Police Efficiency Lauded:

The case was registered under Cr. No. 63/2025 at Rein Bazar Police Station. The accused have been booked under relevant sections of law and produced before the Hon’ble Court.

The success of this operation reflects the Hyderabad City Police’s commitment to upholding law and order. Under the leadership of senior officers and with the dedication of Sub-Inspectors Sk. Nasrin Begum, B. Narasimha, and K. Pavan Kumar, the Rein Bazar Police showcased professionalism, tactical coordination, and prompt response in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
