Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu: In a strong message against crimes targeting children, the Thoothukudi Mahila Court has sentenced Isakkimuthu alias Isakkiraja (28) from Palaniyappapuram to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of ₹5,000 in a POCSO case involving the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in Tiruchendur in 2021.
The case was effectively investigated by Inspector Indira and Special Assistant Inspector Lingakani of Tiruchendur All Women Police Station, whose meticulous efforts led to the conviction. District Superintendent of Police, Mr. Albert John, IPS, commended the officers for their professionalism and dedication in securing justice for the victim.
