Hyderabad, Telangana, Sept 15: In a swift and efficient investigation, the Saidabad Police cracked a murder-for-gain case within hours, arresting Nenavath Manga (48 years) for the murder of her relative, Sri Katroth Shivaiah (70 years).
The incident occurred on the intervening night of 14/15 September 2025, when the accused, owing to strained relations and financial disputes, killed the victim by suffocation and strangulation before stealing 30 tulas of silver ornaments.
Through meticulous investigation, the police apprehended the accused, who confessed to the crime. The stolen property and material evidence were recovered. She was produced before the Hon’ble Court and remanded to judicial custody.
This quick resolution once again highlights the commitment of Hyderabad City Police in ensuring justice and maintaining public trust.
