Chikkamagaluru City,Karnataka: As part of the Datta Jayanti security arrangements, a grand route march was conducted today in Chikkamagaluru city by the Police and Rapid Action Force (RAF). The march was led by Superintendent of Police Dr. Vikram Amate, IPS, with the aim of maintaining law and order, boosting public confidence, and demonstrating the full preparedness of the police force.
The joint route march covered key areas of the city and served as a visible assurance to the public that strict security measures are in place for the festival celebrations. Officers emphasized that the police are fully committed to ensuring a peaceful and safe environment for all devotees and residents.
The Chikkamagaluru District Police announced that round-the-clock security, intensified patrolling, and vigilant monitoring will continue throughout the Datta Jayanti period to prevent any untoward incidents and maintain harmony.
