Hyderabad, Telangana: In a significant breakthrough, Kachiguda Police of the East Zone, Hyderabad, successfully arrested a notorious habitual offender, K. Sudheer, in connection with Crime No. 432/2025. The accused was wanted in multiple cases across the Tri-Commissionerates of Hyderabad City, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda, highlighting the effectiveness of coordinated police action.
The accused is reportedly involved in 10 criminal cases, including nine cheating cases and one two-wheeler theft case. Investigations revealed that he impersonated an RTC Vigilance Officer, misused WhatsApp profile photos of senior IPS officers, and intimidated RTC conductors by recording alleged negligence on duty to extort money.
Acting on strong technical evidence, the Kachiguda Police team traced and apprehended the accused. During the arrest, a Redmi mobile phone and SIM cards used for committing the offences were seized.
Further inquiry revealed that the accused has a previous criminal history of large-scale cheating, with cases registered at Meerpet and Rajendranagar Police Stations, and non-bailable warrants pending against him.
The arrest reflects the professionalism, technical expertise, and commitment of Kachiguda Police in safeguarding the public and curbing organized cheating and impersonation crimes. Further investigation is in progress to trace additional links and recoveries.
